--------- INSTALLATION ----------

---> STEP 1:
Having selected the aircraft, add the following line at the end of [Window00] in the panel.cfg, which you will find inside the aircraft panel folder.

Note 1: Make a copy of your existing panel.cfg first, just in case.
Note 2: Change XX to the next gauge number in the list.

gaugeXX=CALLOUT_SOUND!dsd_xml_sound3, 0,0,0,0, Sound\CALLOUTB\Sound.ini
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT2500, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT1000, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT500, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT100, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT50, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT40, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT30, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT20, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUT10, 0,0,0,0
gaugeXX=CALLOUT_BigJets!CALLOUTMIN, 0,0,0,0

Note 3: Make sure you have copied the First line exactly as above: copy/paste is the safest way to be sure.
Note 4: You can replace "CALLOUT_BigJets" with "CALLOUT_SmallJets" if you wish, but they are identical.

---> STEP 2:
Make sure you SAVE your updated panel.cfg

Make sure you copy the files to their right locations!

#1: Copy from the Gauges folder in this package into your FSX "Gauges" folder:
    - "CALLOUT_BigJets" (CAB)
    - "CALLOUT_SmallJets" (CAB)
    - "CALLOUT_SOUND.dll"
    - "dsd_xml_sound3.gau"

#2: Copy from the Sound folder in this package into your FSX "Sound" folder:
    - "CALLOUTB" folder including all the files within it.

These are the aural callouts. If you wish to, you can record you own voice and replace these files.

---------- OPERATION -----------

The gauge is fully automated, it doesn't have a visual display in the panel but it will be active in the background at all times.

The co-pilot will call the current altitude every time the aircraft's altimeter reaches one of the set values, while descending. No calls will be made when climbing.

Note 5: Depending on the terrain, such as hills, mountains or plateaux, some calls may be skipped or repeated.
